WHAT IS VINYL FENCE MADE OF:

Quality Vinyl Fence is made from Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) resin with chemical additives, such as impact modifiers, UV inhibitors and stabilizers, which gives it sun and weather protection and an extended life.

HOW TOUGH IS VINYL FENCE?

Vinyl PVC material has five times the tensile strength of wood and much greater flexibility. With these qualities, if Vinyl does break, it doesn't splinter like wood and is, therefore, safer for your animals.

WILL VINYL FENCE ENHANCE MY PROPERTY VALUE?

Absolutely! Because it provides beauty, security for your animals and gives your property an "estate" appearance, there's little doubt that homes and ranches go up in resale value when they're fenced with vinyl fencing.

DOES SUN AND WEATHER AFFECT THE FENCE?

Most major Vinyl material manufacturers include weather inhibitors in their Vinyl products, which protect against material damage from sun and cold, and they provide a lifetime warranty in this respect. Damage from high winds is also unlikely when the fence is properly installed. The material will not rot in the ground as does wood, which is the primary cause of aged wood fences blowing down in high winds.

HOW DOES VINYL FENCING AFFECT THE ENVIRONMENT?

Vinyl fence destroys no trees, requires no paint or chemical treatment, as does pressure-treated wood, so there are no chemicals to pollute the air or soil. It simply takes less energy (both fuel and human) to produce, install and maintain vinyl fence. And, if you should decide to remove your fence, it can be recycled.

DOES IT EXPAND?

It is normal for vinyl materials to expand and contract during temperature changes. This has little or no effect on the appearance or structural stability of vinyl fence.

WHAT ABOUT MAINTENANCE?

Virtually no maintenance is needed for your vinyl fencing. This traditional white fencing (also available in other colors) is impervious to deterioration from moisture, temperature extremes, ultraviolet exposure and the wear and tear from time itself. You'll never have to scrape or paint your fence again, unlike any wood, metal or imitation polyvinyl fence. From the day your fence is installed, most traditional fence maintenance is eliminated.

WILL IT MILDEW OR COLLECT MOLD?

Mildew grows wherever there is high humidity. It doesn't grow on the vinyl fence itself, but on the dirt and dust which sticks to the fence and gives the mildew a medium to grow. You can get rid of it by spraying with a diluted (50/50) bleach solution, using a pressure washer, or simply scrubbing with soap and water using a sponge or brush.
